Overview

The City of Colorado Springs, working with the Pikes Peak Regional Transportation Authority, has designated Phase 3 of the Woodmen Road Corridor improvements to be the grade separation of the Union Boulevard/Woodmen Road intersection. The resultant interchange will be a tight urban design with Woodmen Road lowered under Union Boulevard. This configuration will allow east- and west-bound traffic on Woodmen Road to flow unhindered by a traffic signal.
